It would be fair to say that when couples get married, they believe this will be the one and only time. Unfortunately, things don’t always work out as planned. 2nd marriages are great! They’ll always have a different dynamic to the first which is to be expected. And the wedding ceremony will most likely reflect that. Why? Because each person in this new relationship brings with them a history from days gone by! This history will include great memories as well as some disappointing ones. It may also include either or both of the couple already having children too. There will be new and different challenges, but many blessings too! It will also mean learning to do things differently with your new spouse rather than with your last. But here you are today, committed to each other and ready to embrace all that the future has in store for you. You’ve moved forward and now LIFE IS GOOD!
So don’t give up on love, or believe that you may never experience happiness again. Because when you do meet that amazing and special person, you will know in your heart that they are the one that you want to be with for the rest of your life. 2nd marriages are the proof that love, joy and happiness was waiting for you at just the right time. And what better way is there to display that than as husband and wife?
