Sharing the journey with a bride and groom as they prepare for their special day is fantastic. That’s just one reason why I love being a Religious Marriage Celebrant here on the Gold Coast! Often, I get to tell stories of how they met and enjoy witnessing the nervous energy of the grooms as they await the arrival of their “wife to be”. The eye contact is beautiful, as are the tears that often flow. There is so much that I could tell you about the Gold Coast Weddings I have conducted. But then again, how can you really paint an accurate picture of what one was like compared to another?
Every wedding is different for a variety of reasons. It comes down to personalities, the type of ceremony they choose and what special requests they may have. It may be indoor or outdoor. There may be lots of guests in attendance or it may be small and intimate with close family and friends. Or it may be a couple who were eloping! Then again, it may be a husband and wife who are desiring to Re-Affirm their Vows!
As a Marriage celebrant, my aim is to sincerely know those who are trusting me as their celebrant. I want to appreciate their uniqueness and ensure that they have the wedding day they want!
