A scenario occurred for a couple who got married on the weekend! They had done everything right by obtaining a permit from the council for a location at a Gold Coast park for their outdoor wedding. The backdrop of trees and landscaping would have been beautiful. However, it looked like the weather was refusing to cooperate. They thought that they had a “Plan B” in place, but this would not have been adequate if heavy rain hit unexpectedly! So on the morning of their wedding day, they were very fortunate to be able to make a last minute booking for the use of a chapel at a local hotel….lucky it wasn’t being used that day! This is a good reminder of how important it is to organise an alternative venue for your outdoor wedding ceremony just in case the weather turns foul. Maybe your Plan B isn’t your preferred option, but you’ll be surprised by how things have a way of working out with lots of unexpected and wonderful memories.
