I first met Adam and Stephanie during the first half of 2017 at the Pacific Fair Shopping Centre. They had been organising their wedding rings, so we made plans to meet at the same time. It was clear to see that this couple were organised and would be a great couple to work with.
Adam and Stephanie understood that “less is more”! The ceremony would say everything it needed to without being long and drawn out. I loved what they were telling me about the wedding venue and what they were going to do for the guests. It showed me a lot about their unique personality and love for each other.
It was a beautiful sunny day for the Bride and Groom at the Kirra Community and Cultural Centre. A beautiful sea breeze kept things comfortable. And the couple were equally as beautiful! The backdrop view from the top of Kirra Hill was simply spectacular. This is clearly one of the best outdoor wedding venues I have had the privilege to visit. There was a spectacular Marque, a wood fire pizza oven and portable bar. Plus I think there was also going to be an ice cream van arrive too for deserts.
Adam was a typical nervous groom as he waited for his bride arrive. But he kept himself busy by helping with the music that we were going to play through my portable P.A. system. After a couple of panicky moments, the music was right to go just as Stephanie arrived. She looked confident and beautiful as she walked up to Adam. The ceremony went perfectly and these guys were “stars”! After signing the Marriage Register and being introduced as “Mr and Mrs McKay”, they mingled with family and friends. You could see that the reception would flow into the evening as the party got a little louder. Congratulations Adam and Stephanie. The journey has begun!
